Kristen Lilla has been in the field of sexuality for over ten years. She has been a licensed practitioner for over six years, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist for over three years, and recently became an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator.  Her calling to the field of sex therapy began when she was 18 years old, after seeing a production of The Vagina Monologues. It was the first time the topic of sexuality was put on a platform to have a discussion around. Kristen was inspired to help women be more comfortable in their bodies and to help them take control of their sexuality and be comfortable expressing their sexual needs.  Kristen’s passion around sexuality grew and expanded as she became involved in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community.  Eventually, her passion evolved even more as she began to work with both individuals and couples. Kristen Lilla has worked with people of different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds so that they may find their sexual voices and experience sexual pleasure. In addition to being passionate about sex therapy, Kristen Lilla is also devoted to sexuality education across the lifespan. She has presented workshops nationally at schools, universities, and conferences on various issues including Sexual Abuse, Sexuality Education and Relationships, the LGBTQ Community and the Coming Out Process, Low Libido, Polyamory, and Non-consensual sex.
