To get started, simply reach out to Kristen to schedule an appointment and receive your invitation to complete the SYMBIS assessment. The assessment is just $35 and takes about 30 minutes to complete online. Then, Kristen will review the assessment with you both as a couple in 3-5 sessions. The assessment helps create a roadmap for couple’s to discuss sex and intimacy, values, expectations, finances, social and family support, and couple’s dynamics.

Please note, SYMBIS does assess for religious compatibility too. While Kristen is not a religious therapist, she supports all beliefs including Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Christian, and atheist views. The SYMBIS assessment is utilized to help couple’s start difficult conversations and assess where therapeutic interventions may be helpful. After review of the SYMBIS assessment in a therapeutic setting, couple’s will be provided additional resources for problem areas and may choose to continue with couple’s therapy or schedule a six-month follow up.
