Kristen Lilla has been in the field of sexuality since 2010. She has been a licensed practitioner for over ten years, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist since 2013, and an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator since 2016. Her calling to the field of sex therapy began in high school, after seeing a production of The Vagina Monologues. It was the first time the topic of sexuality was put on a platform to have a discussion. Kristen was inspired to help women be more comfortable in their bodies and to help them take control of their sexuality and be comfortable expressing their sexual needs. Kristen’s passion around sexuality grew and expanded when she came out and became involved in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community. Eventually, these passions evolved even more as Kristen began to work with both individuals and couples. Kristen Lilla has worked with people of different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds so that they may find their sexual voices and experience sexual pleasure. In addition to being passionate about sex therapy, Kristen Lilla is also devoted to sexuality education across the lifespan. She has presented workshops internationally at schools, universities, and conferences on various issues including Consent, Erectile Dysfunction, the LGBTQ Community and the Coming Out Process, Low Libido, Polyamory, and Menstruation.
